Christopher Hart Chambers (b. 1960, New York City) is a New York–based artist whose practice spans painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Rooted in abstract thinking, street art histories, and concrete imagery, his work explores repetition, multiplicity, and the accumulation of emblematic forms. His interest in mechanical reproduction, mold making, and casting has also led to modular sculptural works and paintings that intersect with architecture, design, and urban nature.

Recent and selected solo exhibitions include Ilon Art Gallery, New York (2027); Crossing Art, New York (2025); IFAC Arts, New York (2023); Causey Contemporary, New York (2016); Nassau County Museum of Art, Roslyn, NY (2015); Lyceum Gallery at Suffolk County Community College, Riverhead, NY (2013); and Rupert Ravens Contemporary, Newark, NJ (2009–2010). Selected group exhibitions include 17 Frost Gallery, Brooklyn (2018); The Bishop Gallery, Brooklyn (2018, 2015); Lichtundfire, New York (2018); Shenandoah Museum of Contemporary Art, Strasburg, VA (2018); Denise Bibro Gallery, New York (2014); Longwood Gallery at Hostos, New York (2011); and early exhibitions at P.S.1 (now MoMA PS1), 51X Gallery, and La Casa Nada, New York (1984).

Chambers’s work is held in public and corporate collections including the Washington D.C. Convention Center; Omnicare International, New York; and MPOWER Corporation, Albuquerque, NM, as well as private collections in the United States and internationally.
